February and Updates!

As usual here is a list of updates we had the previous month. We have seen the server grow a lot this month and we hope to see that continue!

HIGHLIGHTS: A NEW AND IMPROVED HOST, FARMZONE UPDATES  

- A NEW mob has been added to Frozen Waterfalls Farmzone go check it out!
- Mobs in Frozen/VoL have had thier respawn time reduced a little.
- Updated Olympiad warning data, and also added the warnings to oberver windows, if someone is cheating in olympiad please record and have screenshots, type /start_videorecording to record and type /end_videorecording to stop, videos will be saved inside your Replay folder inside your Lineage II folder.
- Fixed Revita-Pops they were meant to be tradeable (for our server), Thx sirstabsyou for reporting.
- Updated Top PvP & Top PK code, it was coded noobishly by me when I first implemented it (It also updates every ~20 minutes).
- Fixed a problem with CoD spawns near the Altar location, thx Zod for reporting.
- Changed Schuttgart and Gludio Castle siege times to be the same time as other seiges, cause they got screwed up 2 weeks ago when we xfered to a new host, sorry for any inconvenience.
- Just a reminder Terriory wars will always start at 12:00 PM PST (GMT -8) every other saturday, it always defaults to the normal time after its over, but i will switch it back for each.
- Some custom code optimization.
- Changed the color of characters names in DM.
- Fixed the fields of massacre port from the Global GK, thx D0N for reporting.
- Fixed an issue with the mob Averil in the solo instance event, he wouldnt chase people.
- Just a reminder about the database clean on the 29th, we will delete all characters level 1 to 39, for more info refer to the news on the 22nd.
- We know what the problem is with the cloaks not showing up on people now, the ones we have in the GM Shop arent even available on retail anymore, so basicly not all of them are supported, We put the ones that retail uses in the GM Shop, now no one should have cloak issues and they are no longer class based, also cloaks were moved to Luxury.
- The custom light armor bonus given to summoner classes wasnt being applied properly to ES and PS classes (must have got screwed up in a earlir update), this is now fixed.
- The amount of damage the mob Jin reflects has been nerfed.
- Optimized code that shows raid status in the .info menu, also note that the raid status window updates every 10 minutes.
- Random mob respawns, randomized respawn times, and randomized headings are now back at VoL/Frozen after extensive testing we figured out what caused the issues before, so its now fixed.
- Nymph's Group mobs are no longer aggro and are no longer social w/ mobs from the rest of the area.
- Fixed the problems in the invasion event, where you couldnt use skills on the mobs and they wouldnt follow you.
- Fixed a problem where if you have a schuttgart clan hall you spawn in the air a little when you spawn there, this is now fixed, thx Littlehell? for reporting.
- Fixed a problem with DM and CTF where Overlords would use clan skills and buff their enemies if they were in the same clan, this is now fixed, additionally in those events enemies cant give eachother buffs thx BFLAME for reporting.
- Adjusted the Re-use time on Soul cleanse to be shorter, we accidently made it very long a while back thx asla for reporting.
- Fixed Beleth Ring for not giving its M.def Bonus thx for reporting.
- The Global GK port to Floran under Dion is now fixed thx Killerclown for reporting.
- On Saturday January 29th there will be a database clean, which means all players lvl 1 to 39 will be deleted, but dont worry rebirthed characters will not be effected if they are below that level range, so if you have important stuff on a low level character level it up or trade the stuff to a higher character!
- VoL mobs now have randomized respawns like we did to CoD and Frozen, the mobs that spawns will be random, the heading will be random and respawn time will be random although nymph and T rexes will remain unchanged.
- VoL has been expanded!
- VoL had its bigger gaps filled in with mobs.
- Two new ports were added to VoL \"Mountain\" and \"Relics\".
- There were some bugged spawns in Frozen where you couldnt hit the mobs, turned out it was geodata, so geodata in Frozen was upgraded and the problem should not happen anymore, thx Lihyenn for reportiing.
- A Execution Grounds port was added to the Global GK under Dion.
- Updated the automated announcements that run through out the day.
- Nerfed Queen Ants P atk/ M atk a little, and also Nurse Ants HP.
- Increased the occurance of auto events during high populated hours.
- Extended the amount of time you have to complete the solo instance event.
- Changed the spawn position of Vehement. (its near the camp fire port)
- Mobs in Frozen Waterfalls now have random spawns, for example if you kill a plut, any other Frozen mob can spawn in its position after its dead, like a Creech. Mobs direction they will be facing will be random too, this new spawn system does not apply to nymph mobs.
- Frozen Waterfalls area has been expanded, it now stretches a bit farther distance.
- 2 New ports to Frozen Waterfalls were added \"Frozen Valley\" and \"Frozen Highway\", one is a normal port and the other is a noble port.
- The spots in Frozen where there were gaps, were filled in with mobs, so more mobs are in the original Frozen area too.
- Like we mentioned before, there will be more updates/changes to other farmzones in the near future.
- Fixed some spawns in CoD, some were un targetable thx Babybuggaboo for reporting.
- Our server is now on a new host, enjoy!
- Vehement the new custom raid in CoD was added to the raid status list.
- A new custom raid was added to CoD! Its name is Vehement and its level 85, it will be added to the Raid Status list with in the next few days.
- The universal servitor stat boost I guess was overwritten on the last l2j sync (december 12th), it is now back enjoy.
- Updated CoD's Geodata.
- Certain areas in CoD were spawning the wrong level mobs, this is now fixed.
- Increased the amount of juices custom/epic raids drop by quite a bit.
- Elmore Hillside mobs now drop juices at higher chances then before.
- Updated Ants Nest Geodata.
- Shout is no longer Global due to obvious reasons, but a Global shout function is now available at the GM Shop under services, this Global Shout service has a 30 second re-use. Normal shout is back to default, which is regional and still has its 10 second re-use.
- Services area of the GM Shop has be re organized.
- Put some improved Geodata in ToI.
- Vorpal Heavy set was giving 5.57% atk speed its supposed to give 5.57 p atk, this is now fixed.
- Added a \"How to Play\" announcement when a Rabbit Treasure chest Event starts, so i dont have to repeat how to play all the time, also increased the amount of chests that spawn in the chest Event.
- XP given by custom raids has been increased to be more realistic.(some were junk xp, thx Hero for reporting, he reminded me they were junk xp)
- Event Managers in giran will now all spawn facing the same direction.
- Now when CTF starts it will untransform your character (if you were transformed) people have been exploiting this to get transformations in CTF.
- T Rex had a AI problem after the l2j sync it should now be fixed (they would not attack sometimes).
- Fixed a bug where people can sometimes bring out a new weapon while having the CTF Flag.
- Added Custom Talismans to the Donation list.
- Fixed a problem with the Yint mob at Elmore hillside spawning extra copies of its stronger form if it was debuffed.
- Custom code clean up.
- Deleted all banned chars/accounts/items etc from database, we dont need it.
- Increased the drop rate of normal S grade Enchants slighty in Frozen Waterfalls.
- Decreased the amount of needed spoil items for Elemental Stones, and Enchants.
- Added Blessing of Protection to scheme buffer buffs.
- There is a new poll on the website about what to do with global shout chat, we wanted to see what you guys think before we do something.
- Some custom code optimizations.
- Just a heads up, if our votes continue the way they are now we are not going to make our goal of 350, which is an obtainaible goal, we got over 380 last month! So remember to vote guys! We currently (when i made this news update have 100 votes) at this rate we will make around 300~
- Filled in more gaps at CoD.
- Updated mobs at CoD drops a little to include things like A grade jewls, cause people ignore their jewls usually.
- Certain PvP armors were not tradeable this is now fixed.
- CoD is now fully randomized spawns. Also there was a problem with this new random respawn system on a few mobs, and it would spawn extra in certain spots, this is now fixed thx Hero for reporting.
- 4 New mobs were introduced to CoD come check it out! Gorlock, Wiskers, Ynop, and Skrunge the tweaker.
- The mobs density in CoD has increased (this means more mobs, less open spaces), I will continue to fill in the rest of the wide open spaces in CoD.
- There was a problem with bidding on clan halls after the jan 6th downtime, that db area was corrupted as well, its now fixed thx ForeverYoung for reporting the issue.
- 90% of CoD mobs now have random respawn timers, random headings, and random mob respawns, for example if you kill the mob \"Bitch\" the mob that will respawn can be the mob \"Bugged\", \"valdo\", or another \"Bitch\" and they will be facing a random direction instead of one set direction for that particular spawn, all of the farmzones will be eventually converted to this method it just takes time, and other farmzones updates will come too.
- Fixed a weapon restriction problem for a skill, thx LittleHell for reporting.
- Adjusted CoD mob Fruptin some more.
- T-Rex mobs are no longer agro, because people abuse them too much and drag them on spawn points etc.
- Fixed Decoys re-use time enchant route, thx  Huiself for reporting.
- The section \"TvT\" in the GM Shop was renamed to \"Event\".
- 4 more head accessories were added to the Event area of the GM Shop.
- Rampage is now fixed, he would not follow characters since the last l2j sync.
- Drug Box in CoD is now fixed, same problem as rampage.
- CoD mob Floxxy had its run speed adjusted, it was too low.
- CoD mob Fruptin now has more hp, it was too low before.
- Fixed a port at the Global GK, thx Toodles for reporting.
- Players may no longer use Hide while the CTF Flag is in thier possession, additionaly if you use Hide and then grab the flag you will become visible.
- Fixed a problem with specific skills stacking, thx LittleHell for reporting.
- The Certificaiton skill Healer Ability - Heal got improved a little.
- Had a small l2j skill sync for a few skills.
- Fixed a problem with Frintezza problem, thx for reporting.
- For some reason some players have a problem with baylor and randomly dc when fighting/near him, i tested it for well over 45 minutes by myself, no dcs, i tried for over 30 mins with a party of players, and we had a total of 2 DCs, but the problem exists that certain people get mass dced near him, for now on if you get dced near him screen shot the crit error message and post it on the forums, this may help us figure it out.
