PvP on our server has been forever changed! We have added a new concept to L2 called Assists. Now the person who gets the last hit in PvP is not the only person who can get credit for killing a target, this includes support classes too. The following is considered towards getting an Assist: Damage, debuffs, heals, buffs. So if you are healing someone and helping them pvp others, chances are you will get an assist point each time they get a kill. Event Assists have also been added. This should help more classes and players get the proper recognition for their involvement in PvP

- Changed it so that players can use Ctrl to force attack other players in TW that are from their same Territory. Some players were purposely joining enemies territories so they couldnt attack them, yet heal the territories enemies. I am aware that its retail like not to be able to attack them, but remember who thought this up, NCSoft. They are not too bright.

- Fixed the issue with RB event where you could not re spawn when you died. This happened due to some assist updates. This also happened rarely in PvP events too, this was fixed as well.

- Updated PvP messages, they now say somewhat randomized phrases instead of hearing "xxx have defeated yyy all the time.

- Updated the assists info window giving some general information about how assists work. For example, did you know there is only 1 allowed player to get an assist per kill? Also Things like If you wait too long/stop helping someone you will be eventually be removed from their help/assist list, making you no longer eligible for an assist if they kill someone. To stay on their help list you most continually help them. Another is this: If you just hit anemone, or heal someone once, or twice, or three times even (depending on the damage/heal given) you will not be eligible for an assist, you must reach a certain help point threshold to qualify. I hope these types of tips will help maximize players ability to get assists points. Check .stats and click the ? next to assists for this info.

- Assist fix: Players getting assist from players that are in an event (since they buffed/healed them right before the event).

- Assist Fix: Less likely to get an assist for helping an enemy due to accidents like heals (like if they aggro you and you heal them). Now before an assist is finalized it will take into consideration how much you have helped and hindered the target, compare the values and which ever one is larger overrides the other.

- Various other assist fixes/fine tuning, such as adjusting longevity of past hindrance/help on a target counting towards an assist.

- Please report any remaining assist issues, its now shaping up into a great feature!

- Fixed a problem with the explanation for the all block setting in .options. When you clicked it nothing would happen. Thanks Halidith for reporting.

- Fixed a problem when choosing the Name/Title color obtained from completing the Freya achievement, it wouldnt let you have it, even if you completed it.

 Fixed a problem with Event Assists not being reset to 0 after an event (this is why you would see some players with extremely high assist scores)

- Fixed the information buttons in .stats about assists and event assists, they were not giving you any window at all.

- Fixed Raid Battle Event where you were stuck dead on the ground after being killed (this was due to the assist update).

- Should have fixed people getting an assist from their own death. For example someone changes your target and you mistakenly heal your enemy then they kill you, if it was over a certain value/time frame.

- Should have fixed people getting an assist on their own kill sometimes.

- Fixed not getting assist PvP messages in PvP zones, and arena.

- Various other assist issues fixed, there are probably some left, lets see which ones are still occurring.

- Fixed a problem with timed achievements outputting an incorrect time when you finish it, thanks Naiyu for reporting.

- Fixed a problem with Warp/Blink in CTF, its normal not to be able to use the skill with the Flag, but you would get stuck, which is simply a bug, this is now fixed. Thanks for Tui for pointing out they were getting stuck.

- Proper support for blocking skills with the CTF flag has been added, only skills i can think of are warp/blink/hide, before you were able to cast the skill and it will waste your reuse and say you cant use in it CTF, now it wont let you cast it at all, and prevent wasting your skill.

- PvP messages have been updated to accommodate assisters.

- .stats window has been updated it now includes assists and event assists.

- Assists are now included on the TvT scoreboard (will be added to other events soon).

- There may be some bugs with assists, if you see any please report them, if there are too many bugs with it, we will have to reset everyones assists after we apply the fixes. Assists will be used for many other things on the server once we are sure there are not major bugs with it, like achievements, possible MVP, scoreboards and more!

- Our New Player Tracking system has been updates to be better at filtering out alt players.

- Fixed a pretty big debuff bug. Apparently any debuff that does damage + a debuff together (For example frost bolt, gloom, Freezing Strike and tons more) their debuff was automatically being removed if you used it and landed, it, then casted it again while the debuff was still on your target. Which was wrong. Thanks eyon for reporting their frost bolt doing this, which lead me to discovering it happens to all debuffs that meets that criteria.

- 2 New Achievements have been added, one involves eliminating support classes in events, another involves attaching an email to your account, yes we are basically bribing you to make your own account more secure lol.

- A new weapon glow has been added to the Gm Shop services. Its White to Green.

- Fixed the .stats command, we messed it up last week. You were not able to see your targets stats window if you used it on them. Now you can again. (you were actually making it pop up on their screen when you used it...).

- Please note you can use the achievement claim service at the GM Shop to claim your achievement for having an email attached to your account if you already have one attached.

- A new statistic for players have been added called Monthly PvPs. Its exactly what it sounds like a PvP score that is reset monthly. The problem with a normal PvP Score is that usually old players that are inactive or quit has the high score which is irrelevant. These scores will represent whats going on now.

- The websites top PvP list on the side will now show monthly PvPs.

- Another new statistic for players has been added called Overall Pks. The problem with normal PK scores is that they dont actually represent how much a person PKs because people do sin eater all the time to reduce their PK Count. Overall PKs can not be reduced and will better summarize how much someone actually PKs. Overall Pks do not effect karma or the items you drop.

- The new stats listed above have been added to the .stats window.

- The .stats window has been somewhat redesigned and now has explanations for every stat, a common petition for example is what Event Points are, now .stats will tell you, among every other stat type.

- We are having a Banner Contest! Winners will get donation credit (to get what they want) along with other prizes like Crystal Enchant Scrolls (100%) Enchant rate and more! There is even a participation prize. For more information check out our forums.

- Numerous improvements to our new player tracking system that will allow GMs to interact with new players easier. Also made a few Gm tools to simplify our duties.

- Players with out emails attached to their account will automatically notified a while after they log in letting them know the benefits of attaching an email to their account. As always you can set it to where you wont get these messages in the future.

- Fixed a small typo with some automated security emails.

- Fixed an error in the PvP Armors section of the GM Shop, thanks for reporting!

- Added the security feature where you will automatically be emailed if your character is inactive for an extended period of time. To help prevent character deletion due to a long absence. Please note this only works if you have an email attached to your account. You can attach an email with the .security command.

- Fixed an issue with Chain Heal, if you had no ally, it could heal others with no ally. Thanks for the report.

- Fixed an issue with warp/blink where you had to double click the ground after using it to be able to move again. Thanks darklbood for the report.

- Few donation list updates, new special offers,  added a few new donations last week like Enchant Transfers and  cosmetics. Its simply a list of items that you can buy that is for looks. Like fun weapons from monsters. The items are equal to our less then top s84 items. Not really anything to gain an advantage, just for fun.

- Changed it so that you cant get any heal from fighter/mage buff pre made schemes from the NPC buffer while in combat and not in a Peace Zone.

- Made the +0 versions of CoV and VoP no give HP/CP heals so players can not click them for some small heals at the buffer when they could not use the Heal button.

- Fixed some issues with some cosmetic items.

- The command .security has been added. When using this command you can attach an email to your account, or change the email attached to your account. When you request to attach you must enter your password, and you will be mailed an authentication code to verify if the email is actually yours.

- Now if you have an email attached to your account you will automatically be emailed if someone attempts to delete a character on your account. (Its very common for people who share accounts to steal stuff, and then delete your character when their done, it happens all the time).

- We also plan on more security features like the one listed above in the near future, such as email notifications if your character has not been logged in 1 year to notify you if you stay inactive for too long with out logging in your character, your character will be deleted. Which also happens often to returning players from the past.

- It is in our, and your best interest to get emails attached to all of your accounts. We deal with account issues every single day, people forgetting their password etc. This will mutually beneficial to both of us. You can easily get access to your account even if you forgot the password if you have an email attached.

- Added a new FaQ section called "Should I attach an email to my account?

- We are having a Double Event Prize day for Valentines Day!

- We are planning some new security features for players accounts, but we did not have enough time to finish them unfortunately, so it will be released next week instead. So keep an eye out for next weeks updates!

- Added the following sections to our library at www.L2Eequanimity.com , How to Ping our server, and How to Trace Route our server. These can be used to help diagnose lag issues if you have them.

- Our Safe Farming Area - Frozen Valley is no longer safe if your are red. This area was designed so people can farm with out being killed, but it was being used as a safe haven for reds to work off karma too, which helps pkers as well which is not what we wanted. So if you enter this area while red you will be notified that you can still be killed and you are not safe.

- Blessing of Protection PvP/PK protection buff now works for 2 or more level difference rather then 3. (people that are 2 or more level difference can not attack you now).

- Now when you PK a new player (a player that is less then 1 month old) you will gain double the karma and get 2 Pks instead of 1. You will also be notified that you just killed a new player and this is what happens if you do.

- Vote codes that contain letters will now show capital letters to help prevent confusion with lowercase L lowercase I and the number 1. We get too many petitions about people saying their vote codes dont work, but just turns out it was misread.

- The Gold Einhasad needed for removing your clan penalty has increased.

- The new clan hall regulations discussed in last weeks update are now in effect.
